We believe that our focus on dental care doesn’t end with our patients. One area that we are passionate about is giving back to our community when we can. We know that not receiving dental care can be detrimental to your oral health. This is why we recommend patients visit our office regularly for routine oral hygiene examinations and cleanings. However, we know that some people are not able to receive regular dental care for a number of reasons. We recently had the opportunity to work with the Missions of Mercy to provide dental care to people in need. We were also on TV promoting the event on Delmarva Life. The MSDAF is an organization whose mission is to improve the oral health of Marylanders through education and the support of programs that improve access to dental care.

The holiday season is quickly approaching and while we are all busy with the hustle and bustle of preparing for holiday meals and shopping for family, we can’t help but notice that things are just a bit different this year. We want to continue to celebrate the magic of the season with our beloved patients, as different as it might be this year. We invite you to our Christmas Drive-Thru Open House! On Saturday, December 12th from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM, we welcome you to drive by our office to receive a box of delicious cookies. This is a do not miss, as you will get a chance to see all our staff in their ugly Christmas sweaters! 2020 Holiday Food Drive

This year has been hard on everyone and especially hard for people who were already food or housing insecure before the pandemic struck. Many people have lost jobs and homes and now find themselves with very limited resources. Luckily, there has also been an overwhelming response from citizens around the country who have generously donated to homeless shelters, food pantries, and community kitchens to help those who may be in difficulty.

We are proud to announce that Dr. Higgins was recently sworn into the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners. The mission of the Board of Dental Examiners is to protect the citizens of Maryland and to promote quality health care in the field of dentistry and set standards for the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene through regulations and legislation.
