We recently had the opportunity for our dental team to travel to Lexington, KY to attend a training at The American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. We learned valuable information and techniques to improve the care we offer. Read on to learn more about this training and how it can affect your care.
What is The American Academy of Craniofacial Pain?
The American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, or AACP, is an organization dedicated to providing information about craniofacial pain, temporomandibular joint disorders, and dental sleep-related issues. This information is supplied through educational training to qualified dental personnel. The hope is that this knowledge will be provided to the public who would best benefit, such as patients like you. Through research and public awareness, those suffering from these issues can receive the care they need to live a life free of discomfort.
What Did We Learn?
The conference our team attended in Lexington, KY was designed to provide the latest information, practices, and technology related to the care of conditions such as sleep apnea, TMD, and other craniofacial pain conditions. Treatments and technology are ever changing, and we are committed to staying up to date to offer our patients the best care possible. We had the opportunity to listen to a variety of speakers who are hands on and passionate about this field of dentistry. Breakout sessions allowed our team to get interactive training that we are immediately infusing into our patient care. We are always looking for opportunities to increase our knowledge and bring you better care and treatments.
