ClearCorrect™ — Does Your Smile Make You Happy?
Does your smile make you happy? If you have crooked teeth or problems with the way your teeth close together, there may be a clear solution. When you’re embarrassed about the appearance of your teeth, it can affect your self-esteem and confidence. More important, misaligned teeth and an improper bite can affect your oral health.
Uncorrected orthodontic problems can cause worn or fractured teeth, jaw problems, or headaches. Also, there may be an increased risk of tooth decay and gum disease because crooked or crowded teeth are difficult to clean.
Completing orthodontic treatment can give you the smile you’ve always wanted and help improve your oral health. ClearCorrect™ is a clear solution for straightening your teeth, and it may be an option for you.
ClearCorrect™ Basics
ClearCorrect™ uses sequential sets of clear removable aligners to straighten teeth. The system relies on 3D technology to plan the movement of the teeth throughout the treatment. The customized aligners are made based on the orthodontic needs of each patient, and they’re changed every two weeks. With each new set, the teeth move gradually. During treatment, you’ll have several visits to monitor the progress.
ClearCorrect™ Maintenance
Taking care of your teeth is easy with ClearCorrect™ because the aligners are removable. You have no brackets or wires to maneuver around. Brush and floss your teeth after meals. For convenience, carry a kit with toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, and a case for the aligners when you’re away from home.
Make sure your hands are clean when you handle the aligners. Rinse them with warm water and wash them with clear antibacterial soap. Soak your aligners in a retainer cleaning solution or denture cleaner for at least 15 minutes daily.
For the best treatment outcomes, wear the aligners 22 hours daily. Remove them for drinking, eating, brushing your teeth, and cleaning the aligners. When you complete ClearCorrect™ treatment, you must wear a retainer to help keep your teeth set in their new position.
