Eastern Shore Dental Society Mission of Mercy Mini Event hosted at Smiles by Holsinger & Higgins
Since 2013, the Eastern Shore Dental Society has organized the Mission of Mercy, an annual event that has provided hundreds of local citizens with essential dental care. Since COVID, the scale of the event has changed, but the goal remains the same. In June 2023, Smiles by Holsinger & Higgins proudly hosted the very first Mini Mission of Mercy Event at the practice located in Denton, MD. In this interview conducted by Katie Zarrilli for WBOC’s Delmarva Life, Dr. Holsinger and Dr. Higgins talk about the event, its impact on rural communities, and their love for community service through dentistry.
