Have We Seen You Lately?
Your dental health is important, which is why it’s important to see a dentist on the regular. When your teeth are in good standing, it can be tricky to remember why you need to come in every six months.

Regular Dental Visits Are Important
No matter how good your teeth look, a problem could be lurking under the surface or in a place you can’t see when you look in the mirror. It’s also worth noting that oral diseases are usually painless in the early stages, so you might feel fine but still have tooth decay, gum disease, or an infection in your mouth. Only special tools like digital X-rays and our intraoral camera can show us what’s really going on. That’s why we recommend visiting our office at least every six months.
Here’s a reminder of what we do at your oral hygiene appointments:
Check Your Teeth, Gums, and Mouth
Even if you feel healthy, it’s always good to check in with your doctor from time to time because some diseases don’t show obvious signs until it’s too late to do anything about them. This is true for your general health and your oral health as well. With our professional training and equipment, we can screen for a variety of issues. And if you’re visiting us regularly, it’s likely we’ll catch a problem early, when treatment is easier on you and your wallet. Not to mention, early detection and treatment increase the likelihood of a good outcome.
Clean Away Everything You Didn’t Get with Your Toothbrush and Floss
We have a lot of special equipment in our office that you don’t have at home, and we’re not just talking about the fancy chair and bright light. We know you’re brushing and flossing just like we advised you to do, but no matter how consistent you are or how great your toothbrush is, it’s impossible to remove all plaque with brushing and flossing alone. Our equipment takes care of long-term plaque and tartar buildup that even the best electric toothbrushes and flossers cannot remove.
We Miss You!
Remember, you should see us at least twice a year. Have a look over your schedule to see when your last visit was and when your next one should be. If you don’t have anything written down, speak to our office so we can sort out your upcoming visit. We hope to see you soon!
